The Lubbock National Weather Service reports record rainfall for Lubbock today with 2.31". The previous April 16 record was 1.09 (in 2009). Plus, this is the WETTEST START to any year for Lubbock with 9.95". In second place 2004 with 8.49", third is 2007 with 7.89".
